Shape of Railway Track

Shape of Railway Track
Why the railway track is in I shape ?
What is the shape of railway track ?

Railway tracks are in parallel even though some crossings are there, the pair track is always parallel and will not meet together. Generally speaking the track consists of two parallel steel rails and sleepers in between. In fact, the tracks are laid upon the sleepers with the help of spikes, bolts, lag screws, clips. Clips are often pandrol clips.

Baseplate

Baseplate which is considered as tie plate is used between sleepers and rail. This is done in order to spread the load of the rail evenly through the large area of the sleeper. Spikes are used through holes in baseplate. The purpose of this is to hold the rail in its position, as baseplates are fitted with sleeper and rails are with baseplates.

Rail

Steel rails are used in laying the tracks because steel is good enough to carry heavy load than the other materials. Generally the tracks are laid over a bed of coarse which are the crushed stone often called as ballast. When this is done, it combines the flexibility and resilience. In some well developed nations concrete slabs are used in place if coarse, where the rail tracks are laid upon.

I shape

------
.||
------

If you look at the tracks, then you can find that the shapes are not normal rather the track is in I shape. This is closely related to the bridges that are being constructed today. Considering a bridge, the bottom base, middle pillar and the top road will produce an I shape together. In the very same way, since for a track earth cannot be dug, so there is a base and middle beam like structure and top flat, so that it is looking like I shape. The reason behind this is the track can evenly spread the load along the axis. Also the flat bottomed rail can rest calmly on the sleeper and the top can carry the gauge. The heavier the track the heavier is the load the train can carry and even faster.Scientifically teh bending stress and breaking stress pattern are success when we go for I shape, means the efficiency is highest.

Grade

The grade for a track is related to the weight over the length. As said above the speed and load carrying capacity of the train is directly proportional to the weight of the track. Weight mark is punctured on the web side of the track. Generally the track would weigh 40-60 kg per meter.

Fishplates

A track is usually of 20 m in length and hence we need some mechanism to join the tracks. Fishplates are small plates that measure 60 cm , almost 2 feet in length, that are used to join the tracks. And the bolts used are oppositely oriented.

Continuous Welded Rail CWR

In contradict to the joints in the tracks, nowadays the tracks are laid as continuous welded rails which is known as CWR. This is also referred to as ribbon rails. The type of welding used for CWR is flas butt welding. When there is a flaw in the welded joints, the type of welding used to repair the flaw is thermite welding. Since there are only a few joints as the CWR track can extend upto several kilometers, this type of track is very strong.

Sleeperless track

In modern days, tracks are laid on concrete instead of conventional sleepers or track ballast. This is mainly applicable in tunnels and also the regions where there is drastic climate change; because during winter the metals contract and in summer the metals expand. To withstand this large variation in weather, pandrol fastclip is used and is a captive to the baseplate which is more sustainable and suitable for insertion and withdrawl.

March Third week

Last Week
Again revisit and read carefully and patiently what i recommended in last week March Second Week market outlook. Yes all of my advised support levels for global market were true 200% and you people are the witnesses.

Bombay Stock Exchange BSE has touched 8100 mark and took U turn as i said and rallied 800 points. When it will stop ? Yes it is trying to enter in to 9500 zone. Bet it will !!

National Stock Exchange NSE found support at 2600 levels. Always there is a lucky support for Nifty at these levels. yeah it grabbed the support and moved 200 points upward. Huge profits made. Did you ? If not again enter at these levels. No wrong to fear of the bankruptcy statements. Such yellow filings are over like winter and its hot to buy.

Foreign Exchange
Forex!!!Have you tasted the rally in rupee against dollar ? If not dont worry many more to come. RSI is strong. Within few weeks it can firs to 54 as already it crossed 52.

Gold Investment
Again i recommending the day traders and swing traders to get out in any rally in gold. Because, do you know what type of pattern formed in the gold chart ? candlestick pattern or gravestone doji ?? Decide yourself and see the traders and investors running behind the equity by withdrawing from gold investment. Yes honeymoon is over for bulls in this yellow metal gambling.

Stock views
Stock Recommendations
Do you know ? Last week i challenged the readers that Be ready for the Global market rally. As per my recommendations, all global market bottomed out and saw fresh rally. Even the Dow rallied for straight fifth session from its 12 year low.Just look at that March Second Week market outlook and check your portfolio. If you would have added any stock in your portfolio, then you will be smiling with profits.

Software companies can benefit due to the on going rally in rupee against US dollar." This was my last week mantra !! Happened ? Yes you can visualize it. HCl up 10% from the day of my recommendation. Do you know the reason why ? We already know the news that you read today that HCL bagged order worth billion. Is not it ?

Real estate stocks are not seeing that much volume these days due to the fear among investors about the bottoming out events in this sector. But as my recommendations go strong and winning strategy, one can accumulate reality stocks at these levels. I say reality already corrected well and bottomed out.

Stocks to buy

Now it is the time to debate which stock to buy at this level. BSNL is planning for an IPO. Bandwidth for 3G goes fine among the mobile operators like Bharti. This is the hint to buy such sector stocks.

Deflation fear is sticking among the investors concerning the banking sectors. Yes some tough time might rain in banking stocks and it is advisable to play with large cap bank stocks at safe levels. Even Goldman predicts this deflation.

Tata's debt is estimated to cross Rs 1 trillion. So dont touch any of... Youpredict what i am trying to say.

LIC Housing Fin cuts rates by 75 bps. Will these flood money into the market. Sure no doubt in this. This will be the eyeopener for tuesday's session with green movement.

I am not playing with your as i dint say that you buy or sell a particular stock at particular level. You just see the last week stock tips and revert me whether it is success or failure.

How to survive in weak economic situation ?

How to survive in economy downturn ?
How to survive in weak economic situation ?
How to survive in worst economic condition ?

Economy
The economy of a nation is determined by many factors like the prices of the goods, gross domestic product GDP data, inflation data, deflation data, wholesale price index WPI and so on; the spreadsheet spreads. The leading factor that influence the growth of a nation is its inflation and volatility in the share market. Adding to this the performance of various sectors of industry like Agriculture, pharmacy, automobile, finance, miscellaneous, transport, steel or metal, oil etc directly reflects the value of corresponding shares in the finance market. The cash inflow and outflow, trading rate of the currency that is currency rate merely decided in currency trading reflects the strength of a nations currency.

Currency Rate
Simply termed as foreign exchange or Forex determines the exchange rate of a particular currency against the traded currency. The strength and weakness of the currency is both profit and loss for dependent sectors. For example if a nations currency is weakening against dollar, then this is profit for the IT sector companies that are doing projects to other nations so that they can exchange the dollars at higher local currency rate. Also this is benefit factor for exporting companies.

But weakening currency predicts loss for importing companies like oil sectors, refineries that have to purchase crude oil in dollars. Since they have to spend more local currency against dollar this is loss.

Strengthening currency has the reverse effect as explained above.

Real Estate
Real estate sector abbreviated as reality sector suffers much in the economy downturn. Because the land value depends upon the spending ability of the people. In such a worse economy situation prevails people never opt for a spendthrift way rather act upon to prevent their money, investment and assets. So the companies of this sector are badly affected as they depend on the profit of the land sales. If people are not ready to bargain, then the company has to reduce the price of the land or land products to a level that will burn their fingers and balance sheets.

Banking Sectors
Banks are the best friend for all classes of people as they offer instant loan to all applications like car loan, home loan, education loan, personal loan etc. Here comes the safety methods of surviving in the bad economy situation. Home Loan is the money mantra. Generally when economy goes worse it is better to avoid any loan at any cost. Because one has to repay the loan with interest and this confidence affix to the job certainty. Worst economic condition is mother of job cut and layoffs. When there is job cuts, job loss or even layoffs, how a person can be able to repay the availed loans.

Steps to be taken

1. Avoid availing loans

2. Cut short the spendings

3. Dont invest in share market under panic thinking the market has bottomed out as no analyst knows the bottom level

4. Dont pullout the money from share market if you invested as this will further weaken the market

5. Avoid speculation trading if you are a trader

6. Choose the best sector and midcap stocks that will give better returns in future if you wish to invest and before that analyze How to invest in share market

7. Dont do any job quit as company may offer high salaried jobs but there also uncertainty prevails and chances are bright for layoff or job cut there once that project is completed

8. Stick to the company where you are and try to hold the present job

9. Select the best place where you can purchase the land at cheap rate so that in future this will give multiple and multiple of returns as economy will boom in near future

10. Never think to sell a land as your land will be undervalued

11. One can have an optimistic approach toward mutual fund investment

12. Never let your mind nodding positive towards stocks that gave higher dividends previous year since there will be slash in dividend rate or no dividend

Share Market

Share Market is a place where everyone take bath in order to taste the money. But it purely depends on the fundamentals, luck, global cues, behavior of other country markets, currency rate, Forex rates, currency trading etc. Trading is done in terms of the shares. These shares are the name of the companies which gets listed, generally. Also the share price varies time to time even second by second, if the variation graph is critical.

Types Of Sectors

There are various sectors in the share market. Some of the known sectors are Oil, Reality meaning RealEstate, Construction, Finance, Telecommunication, Refineries, Steel, Broking firms, Food and beverages, Metals, Jewelery, Packing, Consumer Goods etc. The best sector to invest is the decision taken by the investors understanding the fundamentals of the company, turnover, volumes traded, balance sheet and so on.

Identify the Best Sector

As we saw above there are lot of sectors available in front of the investors. But which sector one should choose that will give good returns in short term and long term investments. If the economy is weak and the world is facing a financial pressure or crisis then it is tough to identify the sector as every sector would get affected.

So it is better to pick up the mid cap stocks that will not go worse in near future. Because large cap stocks will plunge and surge drastically like anything. If you were caught at the peak say January 2009. then it is tough to get to that level.

How To Invest ?

This is the first question a person asks himself and approaches others when he wants to invest in sharemarket. Basically you should have a clear vision when you want to reap the benefits that is the returns.
If you want to pullout the invested money in short term, you should choose the critical moving sectors and shares and also don't act blindly on the third party suggestions. If you want to have the investment to be taken by your generation, then you can go for Long Term investment.
In long term investment one should analyze the pure fundamentals of the company, the dividend amount it pays to the share holders, the capital and the percentage of share ratio between the company and the public.

Terms Of Investment

Basically investors should go for two types of investments, short term and long
term.

Short term investments are one that an investor will buy stocks and keep
in his portfolio for at least 3-6 months. Gain must me kept in mind and thus the selection of stocks plays vital role here. Equity advisor consultancy is recommended.

Long term investments are one that an investor will buy stocks and keep
in his portfolio for more than 6 months and for years. Here portfolio management is very important as manytax free income flashes the eye like Dividend, investment duration etc.

Share Trading Houses

Generally shares are traded electronically today and these process is done through the brokerage houses and from exchanges like Bombay Stock Exchange BSE and National Stock Exchange NSE.
Some of the well known brokerage houses are ICIC Direct, Reliance money, Sharekhan, HDFC Securities, India Infoline, Mangal Traders etc. Share Tips, trading tips are provided by these houses to their customers regularly.

How to locate the polling station ?

According to the provisions of Section 25 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the District Election Officer is required to provide sufficient number of polling stations with the prior approval of the Election Commission of India, for every constituency, the whole or greater part of which lies in his jurisdiction. Normally, a polling station should be provided for a well-defined polling area, covering not more than 1500 electors and when the number of electors exceeds 1500, auxiliary polling stations should be set up. As far as practicable, the auxiliary polling stations shall be located in the same building or in the premises as the original polling station. Auxiliary polling stations shall have the same serial number as that of the original polling station.

There are totally 51,602 polling stations in the State (as in December 2008).

In the reorganization of polling stations taken up (in 2008) following delimitation, the limit on electorate size attached to a Polling Station was taken as 1200 in rural areas and 1350 in urban areas. Besides, the polling station should be located within a reasonable distance of the habitations. The polling area comprised in that Polling Station should be a compact area. No particular section or revenue village or a hamlet or ward should get divided on account of the ceiling limit and attached to different Polling Stations.

For creation of a new Polling Station on account of existing vulnerability like caste domination, communal tension, criminal gangs etc., distance and electorate size criteria is immaterial. Such creation will of course be subject to availability of building to house the Polling Station within the respective polling areas. In such cases, Part number should not be changed and only auxiliary Polling Station created with the same Part number.

Decongestion of Polling Stations located in a building- This problem is there only in urban areas. Creation is considered subject to availability of another building within the polling area. Here the problem of making bandobust arrangements has to be kept in mind.

Exam Tips

Examination Tips ?
How To Study ?
How To Prepare For The Exam ?
Dos and Donts during Exam Preparation ?

Read below carefully to get the above questions answered

2 To 4 What To Do ?

My Examination Tip says a student must take rest between 2am and 4am critically during examination schedule. Read the following proof to judge yourself.

Students' Mentality
In general, the mentality of the students' is to spend more time to go through the book in view to get through the examination. They used to spend more time for covering the entire part of syllabus.Of course this is essential in exam point of view.

Logically this works fine. Physically what happens in the mind machine. Will the Brain works to the extent what the students want to be. Do you know research says a reasonable percentage of the students sit in front of the books during night for the self satisfaction rather than sending core concentration.

What happens ? !
Yes your guess goes correct. I know every person who reads the topic above, wonder that whether the topic is Interrogatory or Exclamatory. The answer from my side is both. Because the answer to the above question is like that.

Ok. Coming back to the question. When a student spends the whole night in studying, physically the brain gets tired. Next morning in examination hall he must be stable enough to vomit what his brain swallowed. But whats happening in reality.

Generally brain needs energy to memorize and to recollect the memorized like how we keep and take books in and from shelves. So unless his stuff is more enough to recollect he can proceed. Otherwise he cannot. Ultimately what a well prepared student says is he studied well, he knows complete solution for that problem, he knows entire flow of the answer but he couldn't recollect at that time, he attempted same either or choice by mistake and so on. Did you notice the answers ? Yes from these now you will agree my below examination tips that should be followed.

Proof
Everyone in the globe is aware about the robbery that's happening around us(Pray God that we should not be the victim !!). What's the relation with this ? The basement of building my proof is here only. Do you know the ideal time to Rob a hut or a bungalow or an industry(closed one) is night time between 2 am and 4 am. Got teh Point ? Not yet ! Oh yeah !!

Science says that's the time brain is in deep sleep forgetting its function. Even at midnight we would wake if we hear a noise. But during this crucial hour we wont as brain is running under the sleep tunnel many kms long. It will come to top gear around 4 am. So that only when we wake up early morning we would not get up at 4 am we would stop the alarm or set the time to 5 am. So this time is to take the ultimate rest.

Solution
By the time everyone who reads the explanation understand what to do in 2 to 4. Yes study until 1 am or 2 am but not more than. Keep 1 am as the final lap and finish the final trip by 2 and start sleeping. Nothing would fly from your memory if you sleep unless you are confident with your preparation in the previous weeks. Wake up after 4 am but not late at 6 am You will miss the train. Follow this tip. All the BEST for your SUCCESS.

Market Outlook

March First Week
Last Week
Thursday, Indian share market oscillated like a drunkard loosing 52 points in Bombay Stock Exchange, BSE. Tata Nano car will be launched for sale during 23 March boosted the Tata Motors' shares to end up 7%. Also the news added that orders of Tata Nano cars will be taken from that date onwards. Noted that the shares of Tata motors surged to this level when compared to three months. At the same time, Ranbaxy shares plunged 18%. Recently Piramal Health Care shares zoomed 29%, in that 17% dipped on thursday. The weak global cues added fuel to the downtrend share market.

GDP Report
Gross Domestic Product, GDP Reports were released for third quarter which ticked the GDP data to 5.3 which is very less and this dragged the market down. It is notable here that the same data was 7.6 in second quarter. But market regained the lost points as there were hopes that fourth quarter gdp data will be good. But continuous fall in Rupee against Dollar saved market as this is favorable for software companies shares.

Black Friday
Friday the market closed with BSE down by 63 points at 8892. Investors worried about the market level below 9000. Beginning of last year points were 21K but now where it is heading. Hoping that market would recover everyday, investors enter market but some weak global economy data release affect this hope to a great extent. Even mutual funds are having the amount in hand. Rupee heading fast crossing 51 a Dollar is a happy news for Exporters but is a bad news for investor. Especially the forward contracts treated this as good news that rupee was ar 51.13 on friday. But nobody is dare to put new forward contracts at this rate.

Inflation
Inflation data released on thursday was 3.36 which is the fourteen month low value. Whether it is showing deflation in the nation ? Last announcements of Tax cut which were announced after the budget triggers teh mind of the people that this announcement would be better it it was released along with budget; because market was not satisfied with this budget. Since inflation is decreasing every week this shows the stagnant in the industry and the market is looking at the RBI rate cut. If there is any such news that will surely boost the market.

Stock Views
Stock Recommendations : Construction data showed that construction growth has been increased in recent months which is a good news for Real estate share like DLF, IBREALEST, IVR Prime etc. It is good to grab these share in regular gaps. Also construction sector shares like L&T is quite advisable to pick up with the strength that it has received orders worth many crores, in addition to the cement sector shares like ACC, Ambuja cement can be the targets for traders and investors.Refinery and oil company stocks look week as oil price is increasing due to the increase in demand. Also monday expectations are on the merger of RIL and RPL. RIL is having more weightage in Nifty. This merger would benefit RIL share holders but de benefit the RPL share holders. Shares of RPL may drop on monday with the effect other Refinery stocks too can shed blood.
